Legionnaires’ Disease

Legionnaires’ disease is a rare but serious lung infection that can happen from inhaling droplets of water that contains Legionella bacteria. This is commonly via air conditioning systems, humidifiers, or spa pools and hot tubs in hotels, hospitals or offices where the bacteria have got into the water supply. It’s less common to catch it at home.
