Slapped Cheek Syndrome

Slapped cheek syndrome is also called fifth disease. It is a viral illness that involves a red rash that may appear on 1 or both cheeks. It may be less obvious on brown and black skin. It is common in children, though adults do not usually get the rash on their face.
